DoorCo is the leading innovator in the composite door industry, with a reputation for building the highest quality doors & cassettes to match the increasing industry demands, DoorCo also offers a wide range of door & cassette designs appealing to both the commercial and retail sector and is consistently bringing new products to the market. DoorCo is an independently owned, family-run business with Directors, Dan & Jayne Sullivan at the helm, managed by a team of highly skilled and experienced people.

Problem and Requirements

When DoorCo first began looking for a Time and Attendance System, their primary objective was to find a solution that could accurately record employees' clock-in and clock-out times. Additionally, they sought a system that offered HR
functionalities, including the management of employee records.

“We wanted a system that enabled us to record our staffs clocking in and clocking out times. We have multiple terminals across our site, they ensure security for not only our staff but our working premises. With the terminals we have the ability to monitor our clocking in and clocking out times even when remote, hybrid or flexible working. With this terminal it gives HR administrators access to employee records. We have also opted for the fire Evacuation module, this allows managers to view whose in the building through the use of a smart phone and count them as safe.”

Solution

To meet the needs of the customer, the Kelio HR Time and Attendance System, including a collaborative workspace
module, was implemented. This Workforce Management System centralises the monitoring of working hours in accordance with the management structure. It streamlines the time-consuming tasks of monitoring and managing leave allowances, validating accounts and ensuring compliance with legislation. Additionally, the Kelio Time and Attendance system efficiently manages various work schedules, offering a comprehensive overview of employees working remotely with real-time updates and incorporating a range of time-tracking technique reports. The customer also introduced the Kelio Fire
Roll Call, with this setup, an up-to-date roll call list is directly emailed, enabling the client to count evacuees in real time and
clearly identify those yet to be checked off, essential for effective Health & Safety management.
